Cancellation Policy

If you register for a class and are unable to attend, please CANCEL within 2 business days prior to class beginning, or there will be a $15.00 fee assessed to reschedule.  You can request a REFUND, however, a $45.00 cancellation fee will be assessed

Classes are subject to change.  Dates & locations can change from this brochure.  Please call us if you have not received confirmation of registration or payment; we can confirm that you are registered and that your payment has been received.

Retake Exams

If you fail your exam, you can retake the exam. However,  you may only retake the exam twice within a 30-day period and must wait a full 24 hours between your 1st & 2nd attempts.  If you fail a second time, you must wait 60 days from your last exam attempt before you can take the exam a third time.  No more than four attempts are allowed in a 12-month period.  The fee for retaking the exam is $65.00 per exam.  This payment must be made prior to retaking, or you will not be allowed to test.

Online Courses

CTC has 2 options for online!  You can take the course via your computer for only $180.00 per person. Once you have completed your course online, you will be required to come into one of our locations to take the National Exam (we will pre-register you for your exam).

Option 2:  $199.00 per person and this includes your online training course and your exam is given online with a proctor through your web camera (must have a mic).

Both classes include your 5 Year National Certificate.

Downstate Classes Fees & Registration Information 

The fee for the CFPM course is $135.00* per person. This includes eight hours of classroom instruction. After successfully passing the National exam, NRFSP will mail your certificate to you.  This Certificate is valid for 5 years. 

Registration begins fifteen minutes prior to the beginning of class. There will be a morning and an afternoon break with 1/2  hour for lunch on your own. Each participant must complete the full eight hours of instruction to be able to take the National exam, which will be given at the same location.

In order that we may have adequate course materials available for each class, pre-registration is encouraged. If you have signed up for a class and cannot attend, you must call us at 1-800-705-8204 three days prior to the class date and cancel or you will be charged a $45.00 fee.  The Class rescheduling fee is $15.00.

We require a minimum of eight students per class.  If a scheduled class has less than this minimum requirement, it has to be canceled.  Students registered will be contacted prior to the start date and will be rescheduled for the next available class.

*There is a $35.00 service charge on all returned checks.
